My name is Christy Tucker, and my career has always been about helping people learn in one way or another. Building on my background as a teacher and trainer, I now work “behind the scenes” to help design and develop learning solutions.
I have been working in online learning since 2004, and I have a successful track record in corporate, non-profit, and higher education environments. I have created over 60 online courses, coached new instructional designers, and managed numerous projects. You can see my detailed work history on LinkedIn.
I started Syniad Learning in 2011 to focus on helping clients who want to move from just “knowing” to “doing,” improving performance and changing behavior through online training.
Blog
Since 2006, I have been blogging at Experiencing eLearning. This is where I share my own learning experiences and reflections. It’s important to me to give back to the learning and development community by sharing what I learn.
Where did the name Syniad Learning come from?
Syniad is Welsh for “idea.” Oliver Wendell Holmes said that a mind “once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.” What new ideas can we explore to stretch learners’ minds?
